Parent & Toddler
The Parent and Toddler Group Initiative provides small grants for the purchase of equipment and resources, training and other operational and start-up costs. The initiative recognises that Parent and Toddler Groups are providing informal support to parents, grandparents and childminders as well as to young children.
Each year, Donegal County Childcare invite applications from Parent and Toddlers groups operating in the county. These applications are then appraised by DCCC and funding is allocated.
Grants can be used towards the purchase of equipment and resources, training for parents and towards rent, insurance and start-up costs. Parent and Toddler Groups can be awarded grants ranging from €300 to €458.
