Job Description
The Board of Management of Saimer Childcare are seeking applications for the position of Manager.
Saimer Childcare is a community childcare facility that provides early learning and care services for
children from the age of 3 months to 12 years of age. The facility offers early years’ services
(including preschool under ECCE programme), after school care and summer camps.
Role of the manager: The manager will provide professional leadership, management, planning and
organisation within the childcare facility, and will effectively manage the day-to-day running of the
service, thereby delivering the highest quality of care for children in a safe and nurturing
environment.
Qualifications Required
• Proficiency in MS Office and payroll software
• Knowledge and understanding in the area of inspection procedures (Tusla, DES, Pobal)
Experience Required
Ideally 2+ years’ experience in a managerial/leadership role within a childcare setting
