Job Description
We currently have a vacancy on our team for a childcare assistant through the community employment programme.
The Community Employment (CE) Childcare Training and Development Programme is aimed at people interested in pursuing a career in childcare. The Programme provides participants with the opportunity to gain a QQI Level 5 or 6 qualification in childcare whilst also gaining practical experience working in a childcare setting. Candidates must be over 21 and in receipt of a social welfare/lone parent payment for the last 12 months.
Qualifications Required
None – Participants must be committed to completing a level 5/6 major award in early years care and education which may take up to 2 years to complete. If you already have a child care qualification and would like to progress your career and meet the CE eligibility criteria you are welcome to apply.
