First Steps Playschool has been established since 2001. At First Steps it is all about starting to get your little one ready for school, making sure they will adjust smoothly into our setting and have the skills that they will need to start learning. By 3 years of age they will be able to play for longer periods which means we can introduce more structured activities. They will be allowed to choose their own toys and resources that interest them the most. We will also have sensory play, painting, water and sand play, all integral parts of life. We have the home corner where they can roleplay, promoting language development, sharing skills and imaginative play. We have the book corner when they are looking for some quiet time.

We will be happy to talk with you at an arranged time to discuss your Childs progress.

All learning is done through play and Irish will be introduced throughout the day.

We welcome all children, including those of you who do not intend sending your child to the Gael Scoil.
