Always Children First Foundation Training

DCCC are delighted to announce the delivery of the Always Children First Foundation Training.

The Always Children First Foundation training aims to create an awareness of Child Protection and Welfare issues in the Early Years sector. The aim of the training is to help participants understand how to safeguard children and report Child Protection and Welfare concerns.

This is a six hour programme and is facilitated by trainers from DCCC.

A prerequisite of attending this training is that participants have completed the Tusla E Learning Children First Programme (within the last 12 months) and the Tusla Mandated Persons E learning. (The Mandated Person e-learning is a new requirement from 2024).

Participants must send a copy of both their certs to DCCC prior to attending the training.
