Job Description
 The Lead Early Years Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality early childhood education programme in line with Aistear and SÃolta frameworks. They lead the daily operation of the preschool/ wobbler/toddler room, support children’s learning and development, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment. The role includes mentoring and supporting other team members, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with parents and management to meet the needs of each child.
Qualifications Required
Applicants must hold a QQI Level 6 major award in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
Preferred criteria:Â Applicant holds a QQI level 7/8 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent. (North equivalent example: HNC/HND)
Experience Required
Experience in a lead early years role. Desired:Â Excellent observation, documentation and administration skill, Â knowledge of Aistear and Siolta and the Child Care Regulations
