Dear Early Learning and Care and School-Age Childcare provider,

We hope you have already heard the exciting news that a new documentary called Shaping the Future will air on Virgin Media at 12pm on Saturday, 29 August – showcasing pre-school education in Ireland.

The documentary celebrates the incredible milestone of more than one million children funded through the Early Childhood Care and Education  (ECCE)  Programme to date – a programme the Department is enormously proud of given its positive impact on the lives and wellbeing of young children and their families.

This documentary highlights the professionalism and commitment of early years educators and providers and the vital role they play every day in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing and in supporting families and communities.

We would greatly appreciate your support in helping to promote the documentary. We encourage you to view the links below and, where possible, like, share, and tag @First5Ireland across your social media channels. Every share helps us positively celebrate the sector and highlight the outstanding work being done in early learning and care services across the country every day.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to delivering high-quality early learning and care experiences for children and families.

Kind regards,

Early Learning and Care and School-Age Childcare Division
