Gaeilge don Phobal / Irish for All – 4 Week Workshop for ELC & SAC Providers

We are delighted to introduce Gaeilge don Phobal / Irish for All, a 4-week workshop designed exclusively for Early Learning and Care (ELC) and School-Age Childcare (SAC) providers across Donegal. This initiative is a collaborative effort between Donegal County Childcare Committee (DCCC) and Líonra Leitir Ceannain, supporting educators to confidently bring the Irish language into everyday practice.

This practical and engaging course will focus on building confidence in basic Irish pronunciation and encouraging the use of cúpla focal in daily interactions with children. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop offers a supportive space to learn, practice, and grow.

Participants will also explore the new Irish terminology introduced in the Updated Aistear framework, helping to align language use with current early childhood practice and enrich children’s learning experiences through meaningful, everyday use of Gaeilge.
