Donegal County Childcare Committee is running the Childminding Pre-Registration Training course on the following dates:

Wednesday 10 June 2026: Online 7.00pm – 9.30pm

Wednesday 17 June 2026: Online 7.00pm – 9.30pm

Wednesday 24 June 2026:n Dillon’s Hotel, Letterkenny, 7.00pm – 9.30pm

The aim of the training programme is to help you:

• Understand the new childminding regulations.

• Apply the regulations to your childminding practice.

• Understand the Tusla registration process for childminders.

• Understand the documentation required to register with Tusla.

• Access supports and resources.

It will also provide an opportunity to meet with other childminders both new and existing which will offer you great peer to peer support.

Once you have completed the training you will be issued with a certificate of attendance and there is absolutely no obligation on anyone who completes the training to register with Tusla.
