DCCC will be delivering two roll out of Always Children First Child Protection Training in Ballybofey and Letterkenny on the following dates:
Tuesday 28th April & Thursday 30th April, 2pm – 5pm in Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey
Tuesday 5th May & Wednesday 6th May, 2pm – 5pm in Dillon’s Hotel, Letterkenny.
This is a six hour programme and is facilitated by trainers from Donegal County Childcare Committee. Participants MUST attend both sessions to receive their certificate.
The Always Children First Foundation Training aims to create an awareness of Child Protection and Welfare issues in the Early Years sector. The aim of the training is to help participants understand how to safeguard children and report Child Protection and Welfare concerns.
A prerequisite of attending this training is that participants have completed the Tusla e-learning Children First programme (within the last 12 months) and the Tusla Mandated Person e-learning programme. (The Mandated Person e-learning is a new requirement from 2024).
