RE: Voting Day
Normally if a services loses power, water etc, and you cannot open, you are required to complete a Force Majeure on the hive.
However, here are 2 circumstances in which an approved provider does not need to apply for Force Majeure:
(1) Red weather alerts – if Met Eireann has issued a red weather warning for the county in which a facility is, funding will continue provided staff are paid. Proof of the weather alert to cover the day(s) must be kept on an approved provider’s compliance file.
(2) Premises is used for a polling station – if an approved provider is located in a school or premises which is being used as a polling station, an application need not be made for the day of the polling. Proof of the premise being used as a polling station must be kept on an approved provider’s compliance file.
