DCCC in conjunction with Donegal Library Services and CYPSC Donegal are pleased to announce an upcoming rollout of Creating Lifelong Readers programme in Letterkenny Library. The programme will take place over 2 dates (23rd October and 13th November between 6pm and 8pm).
A CLR lending library bag will be provided as part of the programme for up to 22 ECCE children per service. This is to carry out a lending library with parents and children to promote early literacy between the preschool and home environment.
Topics explored as part of the programme include promoting early literacy and numeracy, the importance of books, shared reading and story sacks.
